On This Day in History: William Shakespeare born three days before was baptize in Holy Trinity Church according to its records.

William Shakespeare  coined the phrase “the beast with two backs” to mean sex/intercourse in Othello.

Shakespeare invented the word assassination.

Shakespeare dabbled in property development. At 18 in Stratford upon Avon he bought The New Place followed by land at a later date.

Shakespeare, one of the greatest playwrights of all history never attended any sort of university.
