Aspiring puppeteers taking a workshop with the Canadian puppetry group Unraku recently completed a project they dubbed Monster Shakespeare. The puppeteers all had to select, memorize, and perform a sonnet or soliloquy from Shakespeare using a “Monster” puppet. On Friday, March 5, Wellesley College students attempted their first 24-hour Shakespeare marathon, sponsored by the college’s Shakespeare Society.
