Spur of the Moment Shakespeare Collective and the British Council kicked off their #ShakespeareLives Micro-Festival on April 7th and have been going strong ever since! If you’ve missed their events so far there is still time to take part in the action!

On April 21st check out their debate on: Women in Modern Shakespearean Production at the Deer Park Branch Library from 6:30-8 p.m. This event is FREE and features Shakespeare in the Ruff and Wolf Manor Theatre Collective.
On May 3rd and 4th Shakey-Shake and Friends will be remounting Hamlet…A Puppet Epic! This production is fun for the whole family and a great way to introduce Shakespeare to kids! This event is also FREE!

On May 17th and 19th Spur of the Moment Shakespeare Collective will be remounting their all female The Julius Caesar Project. I saw this production at the 2014 Fringe, trust me you don’t want to miss this FREE opportunity to check out this production.

Dufferin/St. Clair Branch (1625 Dufferin St.), May 19 at 1pm
On April 24th come out to The Rivoli (334 Queen St. W.) for the #SHAKESBEERSHOWDOWN and cheer on all the amazing companies featured in the #ShakespeareLives Micro-Festival and more as Wolf Manor Theatre Collective, Spur of the Moment Theatre Collective, Shakespeare Bash’d, Humber River Shakespeare Collective, Shakespeare at Play, Ale House Theatre, Shakey-Shake and Friends, Dauntless City Theatre, and Shakespeare in the Ruff show us their #GAMEFACE and compete to see who can read sections of the first folio best!
